BDA London’s Highlights from the SS15 Berlin Shows
Boxfresh 80/9 at Seek
Following on from the success of its 25th anniversary range, Boxfresh revealed it’s latest collection ‘80/9’ at Seek. Minimal sportswear in super clean silhouettes were realised in minty neoprene and super soft sweats, while pastel marbled prints on fresh cottons were carried through to footwear.
Fila and Le Coq Sportif at B&B
The joint stand of Fila and Le Coq Sportif footwear was beyond a doubt one of our favorites of all the shows. The mix of untreated chipboard, perspex and on-brand props used in volume created a real statement. It’s clear from the slick stand design and immaculate collection we shared over on instagram back in May (see here) that these brands are really cleaning up their image.
Herschel Wallet Shop at B&B
Herschel Supply cleaned up the organisation of it’s offering at this seasons B&B by splitting their bags and wallets over two stands. The wallet shop displayed the brands selection of zip pouches, wallets and tech cases in new season colourways and prints in beautiful wood and glass display cabinets.
Closed Womenswear at Premium
Encased in a white metal cage clad with white neon lighting and surrounded by botanicals in brown paper pots, Closed’s womenswear stand was our winner for both product and visual merchandising this season. Their stunning collection of Scandi inspired basics was showcased upon cork or chipboard plinths and minimal rails and accompanied by get the look imagery from the brand’s lookbook. Our favorite pieces included the hammered silk vest and short set and Nordic knit jumper.
